Why aren't the Mystery Quiltaway Weekend being held at the Blue Ball Bed and Breakfast?

The Blue Ball has been sold and will no longer be a Bed and Breakfast. We have searched for a new venue for the Quiltaway Weekends. We are excited about the our new Guest House and hope you will be too!

I don’t have a portable sewing machine; can I still come to the Quiltaway Mystery Quilt Getaway?

Yes, let us know on the registration form.  We have a limited number of loaner machines.  We will make these available first come first served.

Can I come with my friends? 

Yes, we can accommodate up to 8 quilters for this quilter's retreat.  The larger your group, the sooner you should book your spaces.  Each quilter should send in a registration form and indicate the others in your party.

 

Can I book the Quiltaway Weekend exclusively for my group?

Yes, we can reserve the whole Quiltaway getaway weekend for a minimum of 7 and maximum of 8.  Click on the Registration button and see the section "Reserving the Entire Quiltaway" for more details.

I have my own drink preferences; can I bring my own? 

Yes, there is a some refrigerator space available for guests to use.  Coffee, tea and ice water will be provided throughout the weekend retreat, but if you prefer your own drink you are welcome to bring it.

 

Should I bring my own ironing board? 

No, we provide irons and ironing boards for all share.

 

Should I bring my own rotary cutting supplies? 

It is not necessary to bring your own.  We have plenty of cutters and mats available for all to share.  You will love our two counter height tables that we use for cutting stations. 

 

Do you have adequate lighting? 

Yes, we have given a lot of consideration to the lighting and it is more than adequate.  You are welcome to bring your own personal light if you wish, but it is not necessary.
